1. What Rotabo Is — and What It Is Not

Rotabo is a technology platform, operated from Switzerland and available worldwide, that lets people list what they need or what they can offer across a set of categories (currently: Drive, Translator, Move, Build, Tools, Home, Auto, Care, Learn, Stay, Pets, and Other), and browse other people's listings to find and contact each other directly.

Rotabo is not:

• a transport, moving, care, tutoring, hospitality, or any other kind of service company;
• an employer, agent, matchmaker, or representative of any user;
• a party to any agreement, arrangement, or exchange between users;
• a guarantor that any listing will result in a connection, or that any arrangement will take place, be completed, or be carried out in any particular way.

Rotabo's role ends at the moment two users can see each other's contact details. Everything that happens after that — communication, scheduling, price, payment, and the actual help, service, or exchange — is arranged and carried out exclusively between the users involved, at their own responsibility.

2. Definitions

• Listing — an entry a user submits under one category and one role.
• Seeking — a listing from someone who needs something.
• Offering — a listing from someone who has something to offer.
• Category — the type of listing (Drive, Move, Build, Tools, Home, Auto, Care, Learn, Stay, Other). Rotabo may add, rename, or remove categories over time.
• Visibility fee — the payment that a listing used to require in order to be shown. Publishing a listing is currently free, and a listing published now stays visible for 12 months. Rotabo may reintroduce a visibility fee for new listings later; that would not shorten or affect listings already published.
• Viewer access — a flat, one-time payment (currently 2 CHF for 12 months) that lets a user see the contact details of active listings in one category. Each category is unlocked separately. It can be purchased only by someone who has a visible listing of their own.
• Rotabo number — a permanent sequential number assigned to a user when their first listing goes live, reserved to that user and matched by their verified email.
• Sponsor — a person or business making a voluntary sponsorship payment to support the platform.

3. How the Platform Works

1. You choose a category and a role (seeking or offering) and fill in a listing: your name, phone number, email, city, country, address, and — depending on the category — a short note or additional details.
2. You confirm you control the email address you entered, by typing back a one-time code Rotabo sends to it.
3. Publishing is free. Rotabo does not charge, take, or receive any percentage or commission on anything you and another user later agree to between yourselves.
4. Once your email is confirmed, your listing becomes visible on Rotabo immediately and you receive your permanent Rotabo number. Your listing — your number, name, country, city, and category, together with your contact details (phone number, email, address, and any note) — is shown only to users who have purchased viewer access. A visitor who has not purchased viewer access is shown only how many listings exist in a category, and nothing that identifies anyone in it.
5. Anyone interested contacts you directly, by phone or email. Rotabo takes no further part: there is no matching, no booking, no acceptance flow, and no in-platform messaging.

Your listing remains visible for 12 months, then automatically stops being shown. Rotabo does not monitor, verify, or supervise what happens between users after they make contact.

Listings are published exactly as their author writes them, at that author's sole responsibility. The one-time code sent to your email address confirms only that the address works and that whoever submitted the listing can read mail sent to it. It confirms nothing else. Rotabo does not check, approve, moderate before publication, or vouch for any name, phone number, address, qualification, price, claim, or intention in any listing, and it never becomes Rotabo's statement by being displayed.

Rotabo makes the connection and nothing more. Everyone using it is expected to use their own judgement — to ask questions, to verify what matters to them before agreeing to anything, and to walk away from anything that does not look right — and to obey the law that applies to them, in their own country and in whatever they are offering or asking for. Nobody is exempt from either of those because a listing appeared on Rotabo.

If you see a listing that is false, unlawful, or harmful, write to support@rotabo.app. Rotabo reads such reports and may remove a listing or block a user (see Section 9), but it has no duty to detect such a listing on its own, and its ability to act is limited to what is on the platform.

4. What Rotabo Charges — No Refunds, No Commission

Publishing a listing is free. Rotabo processes two kinds of payment, and no others:

• Viewer access, paid by someone who wants to see the listings, for being able to see and contact everyone listed in one category, for 12 months. It buys that one category, not the others: unlocking a second category is a second payment. It is not a payment for any particular listing being present, for anyone answering, or for any minimum number of listings existing in that category. It can be purchased only by someone who already has a visible listing of their own — and publishing that listing costs nothing.
• A sponsorship, paid voluntarily, for a name on the supporters list for as long as that list is published.

Viewer access does not include anything else, and having a listing does not include viewer access.

None of these payments are refundable, including where no one contacts you, where no one you wanted to reach is listed, where you no longer need the listing or the access, or where any arrangement made with another user falls through.

Rotabo does not take any cut, commission, or percentage of money, goods, or services exchanged between users. Whatever you agree to pay or be paid for a driver, a move, a repair, childcare, tutoring, a vacation stay, or anything else, is settled entirely between the users involved, outside the platform.

5. Driver Self-Declaration

Rotabo does not verify driving licences, driving records, insurance coverage, or the identity of anyone offering to drive under the Drive category.

Every user listing themselves as a driver declares, on their own sole responsibility, that they:

• hold a valid driving licence for the relevant vehicle categories;
• are legally permitted to drive in the country where they offer rides;
• will never accept or perform a ride while impaired by alcohol, drugs, or any other substance;
• understand that they drive entirely at their own responsibility and that of the person whose car it is.

Anyone browsing acknowledges that any information shown about a driver, or about any other listing, is self-declared by the user and unverified by Rotabo.

6. Categories Involving Children or Vulnerable People

Some categories (for example Care and Learn) may involve arrangements where children, elderly people, or other vulnerable people are present or directly involved, even though only adults may hold a Rotabo listing (see Section 12). Rotabo does not vet, screen, or background-check any user for suitability around children or vulnerable people. Anyone arranging such help is solely responsible for deciding whether, and how, to proceed, and for any supervision or safeguards they consider necessary.

7. Insurance and Legal Compliance

Users are solely responsible for:

• ensuring adequate insurance for anything arranged (for example, that a vehicle's insurance covers a third-party driver, where required);
• complying with all licensing, safety, and local regulations applicable to what they are offering or requesting;
• any taxes or declarations arising from amounts settled directly between them.

Rotabo provides no insurance of any kind.

8. Sponsors

Sponsorships (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum) are one-time voluntary payments supporting the platform. In gratitude, Rotabo may display the sponsor's name (and, for businesses, address and map location) on the supporters list. This display is a gesture of thanks, not a purchased advertising service, and Rotabo may reasonably format, position, or update it. Sponsorship payments are non-refundable.

Sponsors choose how they appear: as a business (name, address, map pin), as a private supporter (name, country, city), or anonymously.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• submit false information in a listing, including self-declarations;
• harass, threaten, or endanger other users;
• use the platform for any unlawful purpose;
• attempt to circumvent, scrape, copy, or interfere with the platform's operation.

Rotabo may remove any listing or block any user at its discretion to protect users or the platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rotabo, its operator, and its affiliates are not liable for any damage, loss, injury, accident, dispute, or claim arising from or related to:

• any listing, contact, or interaction between users;
• the conduct, competence, or declarations of any user;
• the condition of any vehicle, tool, equipment, or property involved;
• the failure of any listing to result in a connection, or of any connection to result in a completed arrangement.

Rotabo's total liability for any claim shall in no event exceed the amount the claimant paid to Rotabo for the listing, viewer access, or sponsorship giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory applicable law.

11. Emergency Notice

Rotabo is not an emergency service. In case of accident, danger, or medical emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.

12. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to submit a listing on Rotabo. See Section 6 for categories where the help arranged may involve people of any age.

13. Data Protection

Rotabo processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law, including the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU GDPR.

14. Changes to These Terms

Rotabo may update these Terms from time to time, including to add, change, or remove categories or fees. The current version is always available on the platform. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Swiss law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is the registered seat of the platform operator in Switzerland, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules granting you a different forum.

16. Your Rotabo Number and Banknotes

When your listing goes live, Rotabo assigns you a permanent Rotabo number (for example, rotabo2244), reserved to you and matched by your verified email. A listing stays visible for twelve months. If that period lapses, the number stays reserved to you, and listing again from the same verified email brings the same number back.

You may, entirely at your own initiative and choice, write your Rotabo number on a banknote or anywhere else. Rotabo does not request, require, or encourage you to write on banknotes or any other currency. Writing on, defacing, or marking banknotes may be restricted or unlawful in some countries. You are solely responsible for ensuring that what you write, and where you write it, complies with the laws of your jurisdiction, and Rotabo accepts no liability for your decision to do so.
